Dear Friends, in these quarantine days I've started a new series of single organic ambient tracks, titled 'PLATEAU'. Here you can find all of the five tracks I composed, collected in a single album, for a better listening.

What's a Plateau?

1. A flat, elevated landform that rises sharply above the surrounding area on at least one side. Plateaus occur on every continent and take up a third of the Earths land. They are one of the four major landforms, along with mountains, plains, and hills.

2. A state of little or no change following a period of activity or progress.

I like to think the second definition is exactly where we are now, as humankind. Except this is just apparently a state of little or no change. Instead, I believe a hidden transformation is targeting our most intimate nature, in a transcendental way, challenging each one of us with a new vision, a great shift. And here comes the first definition of Plateau: climbing a peak to reach the summit and find a new place, on a different altitude. That's our common quest, on many levels.

Generally speaking, I'm having plenty of time to explore new shapes and hidden rooms of my Mind Palace. Soul soundscapes. Future memories. Dioramas. Inner polaroids. The PLATEAU series comes from the need of translating in music the global process of transformation that we are witnessing in these days. The concept of life is evolving. Even the concept of death is evolving. Let's find meaning in all of this. For the benefit of a wider consciousness.

Well, I hope you enjoy PLATEAU and I hope you will use it as a soundscape for your daily meditation throughout this suspended time.
